Magna demands Rufel return Luck but Rufel summons a lightning storm, increasing his powers, and Magna only survives due to Rouge. Rufel realizes that using Rouge costs vast amounts of magic and forces her to save Magna over and over again until Vanessa almost passes out. Rufel claims Lucks soul is dead but Magna spots that he is crying and realizes Luck must be able to hear them, so they desperately try to force Luck to wake up. Asta shows up attempting to break free from Rouges hold, though in vain as she has no more magic left to alter fate.

Asta joins the battle and uses his Anti Magic Sword to destroy the possession spells'

Elf and Black Bulls (Volume) After the Magic Knights enter the elf 's disappearance, Vanessa Enoteca meets with Magna Swing , who tells her about his experience with Lucks . He gives it to Luck 's magic item, Crimson Lion King and does not know that Lady Luck is actually a runaway from a noble family. Vanessa then analyzes Luck and finds many things wrong with his body, but she cannot manipulate fate . The Elf also explains Luck's body and now belongs to Magna. Realizing that Rufel is possessed, nearly killing Magna but stopped by Rouge , his cat Red String of Fate dies. Magna tries to attack Rufel but also stops protecting all black bulls, including Rouge.

Rufel tries to attack Asta, who dodges and then goes on the offensive. As they fight, Rufel uses Luck's memories to predict Asta's movements and tries to kill him, but the elf weaves a spell into the very stitches that hold together Asta's Black Bull uniform. Wounds inflicted on Asta start to heal in seconds. Rufel notices this and mocks Asta, saying that he won't be able to use Luck's Devil after all. Finally, realizing who is wearing it, Rufel becomes enraged and attacks Asta with everything he has. Realizing that he can't take anymore blows from his opponent; Asta asks for Luck back. Suddenly, everyone who came from the Clover Kingdom arrives at the house and rush in to find Luck unconscious with two girls crying over him and an elf who is hiding behind them both. One of the girls introduces herself as Vanessa Enoteca and explains that luck is possessed by an elf

Luck awakens his anti-magic and destroys Rufel's body, leaving only an orb of magic. Luck reveals that he can hear them and together with Asta, manages to destroy the orb and purify Luck's soul. Rouge reassures Magna and Vanessa by telling them that the Black Bulls are her family and she will protect them.

A cursed elf tries to take over Luck's body, but Magna and Vanessa must protect him.

Asta's efforts to rescue the kidnapped citizens go awry when he runs into a powerful elf named Melt, who is determined to kill him. Using his fortune-telling abilities, Luck and Vanessa must do whatever they can to save Asta.
